Module 1 Reflections

This has been a very interesting experience. I must admit that I wasn't even looking into online learning until a few weeks ago. I knew I wanted to continue my education so I began looking into different doctoral programs. I ran across the Ed.S program at Stout and to be honest, I didn't think it would be for me because it is titled in Career and Technical Education. I did however, like the aspect of earning the Ed.S and then transferring to the University of Minnesota to earn my PhD, so I decided to look into it and meet with the program director. I am very grateful I did! He sent me on the path towards online learning.
I am a little overwhelmed and nervous. I do tend to be irritated by email and the lack of grammar and spelling. Maybe it is the perfectionist trait coming out! I also struggle from time to time on the tone that is coming across...that is probably my biggest complaint with email. It is really difficult to figure out the tone or what the meaning being the message really was. I try to give the benefit of the doubt and continually re-read it!
I do have to admit that there are days I would much rather communicate via email then by phone or in person though too! I am hoping online learning will be a great fit for me!

I really enjoyed the ice breaker activity...kingdomality! Click here to read my summary!
